Armitek's ballistic glass is engineered to protect against a variety of threats based on glass thickness and film amount. Furthermore, it can effectively mitigate the effects of bomb blasts, chemical explosions, vandalism, active shooters, snipers, high-powered winds, storms, and a variety of additional life-threatening situations.

Armitek one-way ballistic protection for law enforcement, security, and more, can stop incoming bullets while simultaneously allowing shots to fire safely and effectively out the glass toward attackers. This feature has revolutionary safety applications.

Depending on the threat levels you or your organizations face, Armitek's architectural ballistic glass can be made at different thicknesses to accommodate the threat level. It's also lighter and thinner than other ballistic glass available on the market.

Armoring solutions involve properly installed use of glass, panels, laminates and non-glass surfaces to resist entry penetration by intruders utilizing vehicles, explosives, firearms, and burglary tools.

For certain projects, use Armitek’s advanced window security film in conjunction with ballistic glass to meet multiple possible threat levels.  

Capabilities and Features

• Our standard ballistic glass is UL752 Level 1. This glass is specifically designed to stop 9mm bullets from the outside yet allow the ability to shoot toward the outside and penetrate with deadly force.

• With vehicle and home burglaries on the rise, our smash resistant laminates provide a protective barrier extremely difficult to break with rocks, hammers, bricks, nail-sets, and more. Our protective films are installed on the inside of the window utilizing an Armitek patented process.

• Ballistic Glass by Armitek is offered in multiple threat levels and is lighter and thinner than ballistic glass alternatives. You can choose from UL752 Level 1 that is only .6 inches thick and will handle 9mm rounds, or our UL752 Level 7 glass is 1.37 inches thick and rated for .223 rifle rounds.
