Humboldt County School District in Winnemucca NV.

We recently had the opportunity to install security film for Humboldt School District in Winnemucca Nevada. They are taking safety and security to another level and they are working diligently to ensure every student and staff member remain safe. Humboldt School District is not new to innovation, recently a handful of teachers and support staff from across the district spent time to learn more about Google platforms to enhance all of their jobs. They have also installed WiFi on several of their school buses allowing students to stay connected and work on the go. Their motto is “every child will graduate!” They never stop learning in Humboldt County Schools!

Banjo

We installed dual sided clear security film for this project. The film is undetectable and holds glass in place during a forced entry event.

MOST COMPANIES HAVE A MISSION STATEMENT. BANJO HAS A MISSION:

TO SAVE LIVES AND REDUCE HUMAN SUFFERING BY GETTING EVERYONE LIVE, VALIDATED INFORMATION SO THEY CAN MAKE BETTER DECISIONS, FASTER.

The idea for Banjo started when its Founder, Damien Patton, became determined to solve one of the most common but difficult problems out there -- making the world's disparate data purposeful -- and doing so live. Over the past 7 years, Banjo has continued to pioneer artificial intelligence technology that reinvents what's possible in a truly connected world.

Banjo, born from Damien winning an engineering hackathon at Google in 2010, is the world's first Live-Time Intelligence platform that gives decision makers the ability to understand what is happening live, anywhere. Imagine how many lives will be saved when we deliver live-time information to know exactly what is happening, where it is happening, the moment it happens.

Damien is an industry authority on the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence and data. Banjo’s first patents were focused on protecting user privacy by delivering information without any personally identifiable information. As a military veteran of Desert Storm and former crime scene investigator, Damien draws on this experience for Banjo's mission of saving lives and reducing human suffering by using technology for good.

ClearSecure is excited to have the opportunity to work with Southwest Technical College. We installed Window Security Film on all of the interior and exterior glass windows and doors at the college. This micro-layered film is optically clear and does not change the appearance of windows. However, it has been proven to deter intrusion, resist extreme weather and earthquakes, increase safety in the event of an industrial or bomb blast, and reduce flying object hazards! This will be a great addition to Southwest Technical College’s overall safety plan for its students.

It’s not surprising that Southwest Tech is using cutting edge technology to protect its students and faculty. The college is known for putting people first and for thinking outside of the box when it comes to education. In fact, Southwest Technical College and Southern Utah University recently entered into a Dual Enrollment program. This is considered a landmark event. This type of agreement is one of the first such programs in the nation!

The Dual Enrollment program allows students who are attending Southwest Tech to apply the credits they are earning for their certifications towards an associate’s or bachelor’s degree at Southern Utah University without having to pay extra tuition. In other words, they are earning university credits at no additional cost! Further, students who are attending Southern Utah University now have the opportunity to take classes at Southwest Tech, thus broadening their career options. When students enroll in Southwest Technical College, they are automatically enrolled in Southern Utah University and vice versa. This new program was initiated because the faculty and staff at Southwest Tech wanted to do more for their students. They believe that students should come first. They want to do everything in their power to help students be successful both in education and throughout their lives.

Students who attend Southwest Technical College can enjoy a variety of programs and earn certifications in several areas, including: Accounting, Agriculture, Art and Design, Business, Culinary Arts, Engineering Technology, Graphics and Media, Information Technology, and Nursing. Southwest Tech is not just a college. It is a community that puts the students first.

Kane County School District

In January 2019, ClearSecure had the opportunity to work with Kane County School District in Southern Utah. We installed window film on windows and doors for Valley Elementary School, Kanab Elementary School, Kanab Middle School, Valley High School, and Kanab High School. Even though school was in session while we worked, we maintained a professionalism that allowed us to install the film with minimal disruption to classes, faculty, and students. Our goal is to be able to do our job without creating stress for our clients.

Kane County School District prides itself for putting the welfare of its students first. The district’s mission statement reflects this: Rigor-Relationships-Relevance, Every Student, Every Day. A visit to the Kane County School District website immediately shows visitors the dedication the district has for its students. Monthly newsletters are available via the website. These newsletters not only inform the public about the happenings in education, but also serve as a way to bring the community together.

In terms of population, Kane County would be considered a small school district, serving only about 1300 students. However, in spite of the lack of numbers, the district has a big heart and goes out of its way to ensure the success and safety of each individual student. The district provides many services, opportunities, and activities for students. In addition to athletics, students can also be involved in a variety of clubs. Moreover, the district offers online classes for credit recovery so that students who have fallen behind can get caught up and graduate on time. The district is constantly striving to help its students grow. Last February, classes in coding were offered to students interested in increasing their computer skills. Kane County School District is not satisfied with just providing a basic education. They want their students to be prepared for the future.

Southern Utah University

ClearSecure has thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working with Southern Utah University. We began working with SUU in 2018. We have installed security film on multiple buildings throughout campus. This micro-layered film is perfect for a university, because the film is optically clear and does not change the appearance of windows. However, it deters intrusion, increases safety in the event of an industrial or bomb blast, and reduces flying object hazards. This film is so strong that it even resists extreme weather and earthquakes.

Southern Utah University takes student welfare very seriously. Having ClearSecure install window film to update the university’s security is just one small aspect of what SUU offers its students.

SUU prides itself in being a university that cares about each individual student. To this end, class sizes remain relatively small. Over 10,000 students attend SUU, yet the teacher to student ratio is 19:1. This is a smaller ratio than is found in many elementary, middle, and high schools.

In addition to the small class size, Southern Utah University has programs to fit every need. The university offers classes both on campus and online, allowing students the flexibility to pursue their degrees in the way that best fits their schedules. SUU also offers a broad range of courses for students to explore. In fact, SUU has more than 145 undergraduate programs and 18 graduate and certificate programs available for students.

The faculty and staff at Southern Utah University are some of the best around. Students attending SUU will find more than just teachers as they attend classes. They will discover that they have people who will serve as mentors and friends to help guide them to success. The faculty and staff are always willing to go the extra mile to help students, not because they have to, but because they want to. They truly care about helping students succeed.

However, Southern Utah University doesn’t focus solely on academics. SUU recognizes that part of the fun of college life is making friends and experiencing new things. As a result, the university sponsors several outdoor activities including visiting many of the nearby national parks. SUU also offers a wide range of athletic events, concerts, theater productions, and activities. As if this isn’t enough, SUU has 160 clubs on campus, guaranteeing that there is something available for everyone.

With Southern Utah University’s primary focus on the well-being of students, it is no wonder that it is a popular college choice for students both in and out of the state. In fact, it can be said that being at SUU is a little like being at home.

Iron County School District

In February 2019, ClearSecure had the opportunity to work with Iron County School District installing Mirrored Window Film in Enoch Elementary. We installed the film in some of the classrooms and at the end of the long hallways. Our Mirrored Window Film is impact resistant and rated for explosives. This installation increased both privacy and safety for the children and faculty at Enoch Elementary. Even though school was in session, our team worked diligently to make sure the installation did not cause any disruption to classes. We take pride in being able to do our work with minimal impact on the day-to-day schedule of our customers.

The mission for Iron County School District reflects its dedication to students: Reaching Higher: Creating a Better Tomorrow for ALL. With this mission in mind, the faculty and staff are constantly striving to help students be their best selves by helping them stretch and learn. They do not believe in limitations. Rather, they believe that every student can attain their dreams and more.

Iron County School District has a long history of educating students. The first school was built in 1851 in Parowan, Utah. In 1853, children in Cedar City began attending school at the Old Fort. In 1856, the first Cedar City school was erected. Today, Iron County School District has two preschools, nine elementary schools, and eight secondary schools. Each school is dedicated to serving its students and ensuring their safety and success.

ClearSecure is proud to have a working relationship with Iron County School District and to be part of creating a better tomorrow for ALL.

Grand County School District

In July 2018, ClearSecure had the opportunity to travel to Moab, Utah to install Security Film for Grand County School District.

Grand County School District wants everyone to know that students come first. Each member of the faculty and staff works diligently to make sure that every child, from preschool through twelfth grade has the tools he or she needs to be successful. The district’s mission statement is straightforward and to the point: Our mission is to put each student first every day.

Grand County School District reflects this dedication. Links can be found to each of the schools, of course, but the website also provides a wealth of other information. For example, help can be found on the website to prevent bullying. There is a link where students can anonymously report unsafe behaviors. The website also provides guidance for both students and parents to assist with credit recovery, standardized testing, school rules, and other programs designed to aid students.

Perhaps one of the most impressive programs within the district is the mentoring program. Adults volunteer their time to become mentors to students. Mentoring takes place after classes and is usually at the school. Volunteers are given training about mentoring before being paired with a student. During mentoring, the adult and student do things like play board games, talk, read books, etc. Tutoring is not generally part of the mentoring program, but volunteers can help their mentees with schoolwork if the student would like extra help. The goal of the mentoring program is for mentors and mentees to form positive relationships which can extend throughout the course of several years.

The mentoring program is just one example of how Grand County School District thinks outside the box to come up with new ways to help every student. The safety and success of every student is the primary concern of Grand County School District. The members of ClearSecure are happy that we could play a small role in that vision.
